On 01/22/2025 Licensing Program Analyst, (LPA) Yesenia Fierro conducted an unannounced case management inspection. LPA Fierro met with Director Dina Gonzalez. The purpose of today’s inspection was to conduct a case management inspection and to notify the facility that there has been a lead exceedance referred to as an Action Level Exceedance (ALE) of over 5.5 parts per billion (ppb) in the water at the facility. LPA conducted a tour of the facility inside and out and a census was taken.

Fresno North Regional Office received notification of water lead exceedance at the facility resulting from a recent water lead sampling test. Based on records reviewed from Enthalpy Analytical and discussions with Director Dina Gonzalez it has been determined that there is an exceedance to outlet 243810284 C (prerinse kitchen faucet).

LPA Fierro inspected outlet: 243810284 C (prerinse kitchen faucet). Director Dina Gonzalez stated she has already removed the prerinse kitchen faucet and has replaced it with a new single handle kitchen faucet and is waiting on Enthalpy Analytical to provide her with a new testing date. Director has discontinued the use of the kitchen faucet by wrapping with it with a plastic bag.

During today’s inspection LPA Fierro observed the kitchen sink no longer had a prerinse faucet, but a single handle kitchen faucet and is made inaccessible by a wrapped plastic bag.

Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, of the California Code of Regulations, a Technical Violation is being issued.
An exit interview was conducted with Director Dina Gonzalez and appeal rights were provided.

This report shall be made available to the public upon request. LIC 9213 Notice of Site Visit is provided and required to be posted for 30 days.
