25 | On February 27, 2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Yesenia Fierro conducted a Case Management-Licensee initiated inspection. LPA met with Licensee Maria Vasquez. LPA conducted a tour of the home inside and outside. The purpose for the inspection was to inspect the new added outdoor kitchen backyard.
During today’s inspection LPA inspected the new outdoor kitchen on the left side of the home. LPA observed the kitchen to composed of a stone island with a built-in grill and sink.
LPA did not observe any propane containers accessible to the children, propane containers are locked inside the outdoor kitchen island. Licensee was reminded that all propane containers and flammable devices are to be stored and made inaccessible to the children in care.
LPA observed the backyard to be cemented and shaded for the comfort of the children in care, there are age-appropriate outdoor play equipment. LPA did not observe any hazards to those in care, licensee was advised to conduct frequent safety inspections of the backyard.
Backyard is ready to use effective February 27, 2025.
Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies are cited.
Licensee Maria Vasquez was provided a copy of appeal rights.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
