25 | On 06/24/2024, a second announced pre-licensing inspection was conducted today by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Jeovanna Yanez. Met with Applicant, Donna Jimenez. Applicant and her husband reside in the home.
The purpose of today's inspection is to verify that the following corrections requested were made. LPA observed the following corrections during today's inspection:
· Applicant made bedroom #2 and laundry room inaccessible to daycare children via key lock and/or safety latch.
· Applicant barricaded the in-ground pool with a five (5) foot black mesh fence that meets Title 22 Regulations. There is a gate that is self-latching/self-closing, swings away from the pool and latching device is located no more than six inches from the top of the gate.
· Applicant removed the following: grills, propane tanks, piles of wood, wooden planks, and other potential hazards located in the backyard
The home meets the description of a safe and healthy environment for children as described in Chapter 3, Division 12, Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations and is adequate for a Small Family Day Care Home (SFDCH). Licensure as a Small Family Day Care Home capacity of 8 children will be recommended effective June 25, 2024.
Planned hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm and as arranged. Overnight care will be provided. |
