25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Deanna Villagrana met with Director, Erin Ramirez for a case management inspection to follow-up on an unusual incident report (UIR) the preschool self reported and received by Licensing on 11/03/2023. LPA observed 13 children one teacher and two aides in room 38 and 17 children with one teacher, two aides and one volunteer grandparent.
It was reported by teacher 1 that teacher 2 was mishandling children in the classroom. The school's Human Resource Department conducted their own interviews with staff regarding allegations. LPA obtained copies of the interviews. Director states it was referred to CPS which declined to investigate and referred to the Police Department. Director states she has not received anything from the Police Department and based on interviews, allowed the teacher to return to work.
No Deficiency was cited.
A NOTICE OF SITE VISIT WAS ISSUED, POSTED NEAR THE ENTRANCE TO THE FACILITY, AND MUST REMAIN POSTED FOR 30 DAYS. |
