Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Andrea Cortez and Licensing Program Manager (LPM) Gladys Kuizon conducted an unannounced complaint investigation today and met with Director Loretta Ehrhart to deliver investigation findings.

On 9/24/24 and 10/24/24, LPA conducted an unannounced facility tour and interviewed facility Staff. LPA obtained and reviewed records including children roster.

Based on staff interviews, no teachers were observed hitting or encouraging children to hit each other. Staff also stated they have not seen children restrained in chairs.

Reporting Party(RP) stated children are restrained in chairs, teacher encourage children to hit back, and teacher hit children. No additional information was provided.

 Based on interviews, record reviews, observations, and evidence gathered during the investigation process, it is concluded that although the allegations noted on this complaint may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove that the alleged violations did or did not occur. The allegations are UNSUBSTANTIATED.

No deficiencies were cited.

A Notice of Site Visit was provided to Loretta Ehrhart, Licensee Director, and must remain posted for 30 days.
