25 | Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs), Janette Cruz and Jessica Bongardt , conducted an unannounced case management inspection in response to Licensee's request to increase the capacity from 8 to 14 children. LPAs met with Alondra Tapia, Licensee. LPAs also observed Ignacio Caballero-Prado (Licensee's uncle), Mirella Alcazar (Licensee's mother), with two children (1 preschool, 1 infant) present in the home. Licensee stated that her mother was just visiting her home for three days and has provided LPAs proof that Licensee's mother arrived on 8/31/2023. The Licensee, Ignacio Caballero-Prado and Jeffrey Robles-Morales (Licensee's fiance) are the adults residing in the home. Days and hours of operation are from Monday to Saturday from 3:00 AM to 1:00 AM. Licensee has current CPR/First Aid certifications and Mandated Reporter Training certificate on file. Both indoor and outdoor areas of the home were inspected.
LPAs observed the home is clean, orderly, and safe for the day care children. LPAs observed no fireplace and no open face heaters, LPA observed sufficient age-appropriate materials, toys, and play equipment in the home. Off limit areas in the home: master bedroom/bathroom, two bedrooms, laundry room and garage. Off limit areas outside the home: gated dog run area located at the left side of backyard
LPAs observed a fully charged 2A10BC fire extinguisher, working smoke/carbon monoxide detectors, no bodies of water, and fenced backyard. LPAs observed Licensee has a pet dog (mini Australian Shepherd) that is kept away from children. Licensee stated she does not have weapons in the home. All cleaning compounds and medications are adequately stored in locked cabinets and inaccessible to children.
