The center will be providing meals and snacks that will be prepared off site in the main office kitchen and will be ready to serve. The office is equipped with refrigerator, microwave, and sink with hot and cold running water. Facility will use disposable and re-usable dishes and cups that will be rinsed and sent to the main office to be cleaned and sanitized. LPA observed solid waste container with tight-fitting lid in each classroom. There are 120 cubbies, 15 tables of different sizes, 149 chairs, and 123 cots. Drinking water is available indoor and outdoor by water dispensers and cups.
Outdoor measurements were not taken during today's visit, the facility is currently licensed (Little Bear Creek State Preschool #274415708), measurements taken on pre-licensing visit on 09/06/2017:

The playground is surrounded by appropriate fencing. There is a climbing structure with tan bark as resilient material. LPA observed no bodies of water. Shade is provided by canopies. No transportation is provided by the school. There is one working telephone numbers for the center which is (831) 755-0352.
All staff are hired and fingerprinted through the Monterey County Office of Education. Facility representative was reminded that all adults 18 and over responsible for administration or direct supervision of staff, persons who provides care and supervision to children, and staff who have contact with children, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5-days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30-days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated. |
