On 09/18/2026 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Yareli Ramirez met with licensee Alejandra Birruete Alvarez for an unannounced annual inspection and increase capacity. LPA explained the reason for the visit. Present were licensee and seven daycare children--- two school age, five preschool age children. Days and hours of operation are Monday to Saturday, 4:00AM-3:00AM. The adults that reside in the home are licensee, licensee’s spouse (A1), licensee’s three adult daughters (A2, A3, A4), and two adult sons (A5 and A6).
Licensee Alejandra Birruete Alvarez was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption prior to initial presence in a Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if the regulation is violated.
LPA toured the indoor and outdoor areas during today's visit. Fire Safety Inspection was conducted on 09/08/2026. Fire Clearance granted, not approved for front yard, all bedrooms, laundry room and attached garage. LPA verified at least two emergency exits that are clear for use. LPA asked if she had made any changes to the home after the fire clearance inspection, to which she answered no. Licensee has a working telephone in the home. LPA verified all required postings and observed sufficient age-appropriate materials, toys, and play equipment for the day care children. LPA observed a barricaded fireplace, and barricaded stairs preventing access to the second floor.
