25 | On 6/09/2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPAs) Andy Yang and Yareli Ramirez met with Licensee, Irma Rodriguez, to conduct an unannounced annual random inspection. Licensee had requested to convert off limit areas to on limit rooms on 4/08/2026, and provided an updated facility sketch LIC999 to reflect the change. Fire clearance for a Large Family Child Care Home was approved on 4/14/2026. Present for this inspection were Licensee, (2) adults, and (5) children. All adults living in the home have criminal clearance. The home was toured to conduct a Health and Safety Inspection. Days and hours of operation are from Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 5:30pm. The ages of the children to be served are from 0 to 12 years of age.
The home is a single family home. The home is neat and clean with heating and ventilation for safety and comfort. LPA advised the Licensee that her request for the on limit classroom and cover porch has been approved effective 6/09/2026. The ON LIMIT AREAS are classroom, (2) bathrooms, living room, kitchen, dining room, family room, cover porch, and backyard. The OFF LIMIT AREAS are garage, master bedroom, master bathroom, bathroom, and (2) bedrooms which will be inaccessible by closed and/or locked doors and visual supervision. The ISOLATION AREA will be the living room. The outdoor play area is free from defects or dangerous conditions and is fenced, and supervision will be provided. LPA observed fire place is barricaded. There are ample age-appropriate toys that appear to be safe and in good condition. There are no pools, hot tubs, or any other bodies of water. All hazardous materials and toxins are kept out of the reach of children, and it was observed that there are no toxins or hazardous items accessible today. Licensee states that any poisons are stored in the garage which is OFF LIMITS. LPA reminded the Licensee that smoking, baby walkers, and similar items are not allowed in Family Child Care Homes.
