13 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) M. Yang arrived unannounced on 08/29/22 at 09:15 AM to conclude the complaint investigation. Upon arrival LPA met with Administrator Tony Montellano and stated the purpose of the visit.
A complaint was received on May 20,2020, alleging the following: Staff were not administering medications per doctors orders; Staff were not meeting the basic serviced needs of resident; and staff failed to provide supervision of resident, resulting in multiple falls. During the course of the investigation the department conducted interviews and reviewed relevant documents. Based in the information obtained during this time period, the allegations could not be confirmed or corroborated.
The Department has investigated the above mentioned allegations and has determined that the complaint is UNSUBSTANTIATED. A finding that the complaint is unsubstantiated means that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated.
