LPA Ouye met with Michelle Eggert to consult on a capacity increase at this site due to the future closure of NCOE Phillips Charter State Preschool when the school year ends this year. The local school district is taking the classroom back to operate under the local Unified School District. The children that will be enrolling for the 2024/2025 school year at the Phillips Charter State Preschool will attend this NCOE Napa Preschool Program.
This location will be seeking a capacity increase to absorb the children from Philips Preschool in a vacant classroom on this site. An application for the capacity increase will be submitted so the program will be able to open the new classroom in August 2024 when the new school year begins. LPA advised Michelle Eggert that the capacity increase would be handled by the Centralized Application Bureau.
