Interviews conducted with residents indicated that they felt safe at the facility and no one has ever hurt them at the facility. Interviews conducted with staff indicated there has not been any reports of inappropriate behavior or touching from staff. Staff ensure to report anything out of the ordinary during brief changes. Records reviewed indicated that there were no reports of sexual abuse or suspected sexual abuse from staff towards residents in care.
Based on interviews conducted and records reviewed, the preponderance of evidence standards have not been met. Therefore, the above allegations are found to be UNSUBSTANTIATED. A finding that a complaint allegation is unsubstantiated means that, although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred.
