During the investigation LPA Lucero interviewed 6 staff and conducted a physical plant inspection.
During staff interviews, staff denied ever experiencing/observing there not being soap available for children. Staff stated if there is no soap in the restrooms there will be soap in the classrooms, or vise versa. Staff also stated children usually will wash their hands in the classroom after using the restroom due to supervision purposes.
On 05/14/2025 and 06/12/2025, LPA Lucero inspected the soap dispensers in the preschool classrooms and preschool restrooms and observed all soap dispensers had soap.
Based on LPA's interviews and observations, it has been determined there was no preponderance of evidence supporting the facility does not provide hand soap for the children in care. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is found to be Unsubstantiated.
Exit interview was conducted with Director Nicole Ontiveros. The Notice of Site Visit was posted.
End of Report.
