Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ketki Desai conducted an unannounced Case Management, Licensee initiated inspection for a change in capacity (Decrease) for Preschool age children.

Licensee is requesting a change to the current Preschool capacity from 92 Preschool children to 66 preschool age children (2-6 years old) by removing Room # 3 and continue to use Room # 4, 5 and 6 under the Preschool license.

LPA met with Facility Administrator Ms. Tucker, Alicia who gave a tour of the Preschool classrooms. Current census today in three rooms was 37 preschool age children with 4 teachers.

All areas identified on the Facility Sketch were inspected. Furniture and equipment were inspected for age appropriateness and good repair in the preschool rooms.



Today measurements were taken for the three preschool rooms ( 4,5 and 6) by the LPA.

Total indoor space: 2856’54 divided by 35 = 81’62 (82 children) Capacity requested is 66

Total sinks: 24 X 15= 360 (children)
Total Toilets: 18 X 15= 270 (children) (1 urinal)

Outdoor Activity Space: No changes made to the outdoor activity space ( measurement taken in 2014 remains current: The total outdoor playground is measured as 11015 square feet and is enough for a total of 66 children

Based on today's inspection facility has enough indoor /outdoor space / toilets and sinks to accommodate 66 preschool age children (2-6 years old) in three assigned rooms # 4 , 5 and 6.

Fire clearance has been approved by Orange County Fire authority for the requested capacity.

Administrator Ms.Tucker, Alicia is current on the required CPR training (4/23)

License for 66 Preschool age children (2-6 old) in Room # 4, 5 and 6. Monday to Friday (6:30 AM – 6:00PM) shall be granted after the final approval by the management.

Report was read to the Facility Administrator and appeal rights were provided.
