Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Mahnaz (Nancy) Malek conducted a case management inspection of the facility for the purpose of increasing capacity from 82 preschool children to 106 preschool children by decreasing the school age capacity taking Room # 7 off and add it to the preschool. LPA met with director, Vanessa Stahl who toured the facility with. Census was taken. Currently the facility is licensed for 82 children rooms 5, 6, 8, and 9. The licensee has requested to provide care and supervision for 106 children in rooms 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 ages 2 to 6 years old, Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The total census were 49 preschool children with 5 staff.
Room # 5 there were 9 children with one staff.
Room # 6 there were 16 children with 2 staff
Room # 8 there were 12 children with one staff
Room # 9 there were 12 children with one staff
A review of the Facility Personnel Report Summary on this date indicates that all facility staff or other individuals who require caregiver background checks have received criminal record and child abuse index clearances or exemptions.
Office area is located at the entrance of the building and will serve as the isolation area for ill children temporarily until parents arrive. The staff/adult restroom will be used as the isolation restroom for ill children and is conveniently located close to the isolation area.
