25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Thompson conducted an on-site inspection for the purpose of a Case Management Incident on 3/19/2025. LPA Thompson met with Director Alex Ramstorf. There was a total of 22 infants with six staff and 21 toddlers with six staff at the time of visit.
A review of staff criminal clearance records on this date indicated that all facility staff or other individuals who required caregiver background checks have received criminal record and child abuse index clearances or exemptions.
Today's Case Management inspection is being conducted in response to a self reported incident that was reported to the Orange County Community Care Licensing Regional Office on 3/7/2025, detailing child #1 (C1) had an allergic reaction after coming into contact with another child that had eaten a food item that C1 was allergic to and an Epi-Pen was administered by staff #1 (S1).
During today’s visit, LPA reviewed C1 file for LIC 700 Identification and Emergency Information, LIC 701 Physicians’ Report, LIC 702 Child’s Preadmission Heath History – Parent Report, LIC 627 Consent for Emergency Medical Treatment, LIC 613 Personal Rights, LIC 995 Parents Rights, LIC 9227 Individual Infant Sleeping Plan, Immunization Records, Enrollment Agreement, Needs and Service Plan.
Based on the interviews conducted during the investigation, information obtained, and the areas that were evaluated, No deficiencies were observed of the California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12 during today’s inspection.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Director Alex Ramstorf. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. |
