LPA was not able to interview the reporting party.

On 09/15/2022. LPA Gutierrez made an unannounced inspection to the facility regarding the allegations of Personal Rights. LPA Interviewed the Licensee, Staff #1, attempted 03 children interviews and obtained a copy of the children’s facility roster (LIC 9040). During the interviews conducted the staff interviewed were asked what the discipline policy is and if the children were ever yelled at or handled in a rough manner while in care at the facility. Licensee stated that the children do get time out (which is sitting by the gate area in the on limits back yard) at the facility and stated that that she or no other staff yell or physically discipline the children in care. Staff #1 stated that the children are talked to, separated, redirected and placed in time out on the floor outside for 10-15 minutes.
