25 | On August 20, 2026, an unannounced annual random inspection was conducted at the facility by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Long Pham. At 2:20pm, LPA observed the licensee Lee Sora and an assistant providing care for 1 infant and 8 preschool children. Licensee was operating within the licensed capacity as specified on license.
A review of the Facility Personnel Report Summary on this date indicates all facility residents, staff, or other individuals who require caregiver background checks have received criminal record and child abuse index clearances or exemptions. Currently, according to the Licensee, there are 3 adults including the licensee residing in the facility. Facility Daycare hours are 8:00am - 5:30pm, Monday through Friday.
During today’s inspection, LPA and licensee toured the inside and outside areas of the facility sketch as accessible to childcare children. This is a single-family home with 4 bedrooms, three bathrooms, the living room, the dining room, the kitchen, the garage, the playroom, the front yard (not fenced), and the backyard (fenced). Licensee stated the daycare area consists of the living room, the playroom, one bathroom, 1 bedroom, and the backyard (fenced). Off-limit areas include 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, the kitchen, the dining room, the garage, and the front yard (not fenced). LPA verified the childcare areas on the facility sketch and off-limits are made inaccessible by means of child-proof door locks. The facility has a fireplace in the living room that is covered by a built wall. There is at least one working carbon monoxide, smoke detector, and fire extinguisher in the home that meet statutory and State Fire Marshall standards. Last fire/disaster drill documented on 07/23/2026. Detergents, cleaning compounds, medicines, and other items, which could pose a danger if readily available to children, were stored inaccessible to children. Licensee stated there are no firearms and/or other dangerous weapons in the facility, and none were observed during today's inspections.
