The complainant alleged the licensee does not place sleeping infants in their crib.
On 4/24/23 and 5/30/23, LPA interviewed L1 and L2. L1 stated caring for 2 infants and during nap time, they placed the infants in the bedroom on the playpen. L1 also stated when infants start to fall asleep, L1 will pick them up and place them in the playpen. L2’s statement was consistent with L1’s statement.
On 5/18/2023, LPA interviewed the 2 assistants. S1 and S2 stated infants sleep in the infant room both stated infants sleep on the playpen in one of the bedrooms.
During the inspection on 4/24/23 and 6/14/2023, LPA observed the bedroom #3 had playpens and verified with L1 infants nap in this room.
On 5/18/23, LPA called 8 parents and interviewed 6 of the 8 parents. There were no disclosures from the 6 parents interviewed. LPA did not receive a return call from the 2 parents.
On 6/14/2023, LPA interviewed 4 preschool children. There were no disclosures from 1 of 4 preschool children and 3 children were nonverbal.
Based on interviews conducted and record review, the complaint alleging provider does not place infants in a crib or play yard once asleep is found to be unsubstantiated. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not enough preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated.

On 4/24/23 and 5/30/23, LPA interviewed L1 and L2. L1 stated caring for 2 infants and during nap time, they are placed in the bedroom on the playpen. L1 denies using licensee’s off limit bedroom during nap time and do not nap with infants in licensee’s off limit bedroom. |
