There is access to the garage through a door at the end of hallway that has been made inaccessible to children by the means of a safety doorknob. Backyard has a door leading to the laundry room that has been made inaccessible to children by locks. The door in the corner of the backyard next to the playground leading to the RV area has been made in accessible to children with a chain lock and a child safety doorknob. The licensee has a cell phone to use for childcare. LPA informed the licensee that the cell phone must always remain on the premises during hours of operation 7:00am-6:00pm. Licensee stated that she provides breakfast, lunch, and snack. Licensee stated if children have allergies that depending on allergy, she will substitute the food or parents will have to bring the food depending on the allergy. Licensee stated that the home is free from smoking during hours of operation. Cleaning solutions/chemicals, utensils, and sharp knives located in the kitchen are all inaccessible by child safety locks. Poisons/Hazardous items are not stored on site, and none were observed.
There is a pool in the backyard next too children’s play area. The pool has been made in accessible to children by 2 mesh fences. One mesh fence directly surrounds the pool that is 5ft tall and only opens with a two-step process. First by pulling the latch on top and and then pulling the door towards you. The second mesh fence is 5 feet tall with a gate that swings away from pool area and has a two-step process to unlock. By first pulling the top latch up then pulling the door towards you. Both gates are self closing. Licensee stated that there are no weapons at the facility that they removed them from the home in 12/2022.

Facility License (LIC 203), Waivers (if applicable), Notification of Parent’s Rights Poster (PUB 394), Earthquake Preparedness Checklist (LIC 9148), Emergency Disaster Plan (LIC 610A) California Car Seat Law (PUB 269). ). A Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) must be posted for 30 days after each site inspection by a Licensing Representative. Any Licensing Report documenting a Type “A” deficiency must be posted for 30 days during the hours that children are in care. Any Licensing Report or other document verifying compliance or non-compliance with the Department’s order to correct a Type “A” deficiency must be posted for 30 days during the hours that children are in care.
