LPA informed applicant, when firearms are present, they must be locked and stored separately from the ammunition.
Based on the Facility Sketch submitted, areas off limits to children and parents are: Applicant has designated the three bedrooms and one bathroom, garage, front yard, and backyard as Off-limits areas.
The off- limits areas are made inaccessible by the Applicant, placing a child proof safety gate, in the hallway leading to the three bedrooms and one bathroom and fenced separated the patio from the backyard. Applicant has a combination lock and key lock on the garage.
Applicant understands that licensing staff may have access to off-limit areas during inspection visit if necessary.
Areas Designated for Day care activities: Applicant has designated living room, dining room, kitchen, one bedroom, one bathroom, and patio for day care activities.
The children shall enter through the fenced gate in the front yard, children shall be received at the main door, parents shall press the ring front door camera to gain access to the home.
The designated Child Care areas (living room) were observed to have age-appropriate toys, educational items. Children shall nap in the one bedroom and living room and cots shall be used, linens shall be provided by the applicant and blankets shall be provided by the parents.
Upon entrance, temperatures shall be checked, hands shall be sanitized, and the children shall be guided into the designated day care areas.
COVID-19 guidelines and precautions were discussed with the applicant.
The bathroom is located in the hallway, it was observed to be safe and free of hazardous items. There are several cabinets and were observed to be safe with child safety locks installed. Applicant has a small step tool for children in the bathroom.
OUTDOOR PLAY AREA: Applicant have designated patio area for outdoor activities, it was observed to be fenced on all the sides. LPA observed age-appropriate toys and climbing structures for the children. LPA observed artificial grass on the concrete flooring, in the open space, where climbing structures are placed. LPA also observed the patio covered for shade. Per applicant, there are no bodies of water on the premises.
