Based on the Facility Sketch submitted, areas off limits to children and parents are: Applicant has designated 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and laundry room, as the off-limit areas. Applicant has locks on the bedroom doors, to ensure the area is inaccessible to the children in care. Applicant does not have any items in the kitchen area that can cause harm to the children in care.
Applicant understands that licensing staff may have access to off-limit areas during inspection visit if necessary.
Areas Designated for Day care activities: Applicant has designated 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, living room, kitchen, dining room, as the day care areas.
Upon arrival applicant will receive the children at the front door, to gain access to the home.
The designated Child Care areas were observed to have age-appropriate toys and educational items.
Children will nap in one of the bedrooms, and beds shall be used for the children. Per applicant, she will provide the linen and parents will provide blankets for the children.
Per applicant, upon arrival children’s temperature will be taken, hands shall be sanitized, and the children shall be guided into the designated day care areas.
COVID-19 guidelines and precautions were discussed with the applicant.
Children’s bathroom is located in the hallway and was observed to be safe and free of hazardous items. Applicant has small step tool for children in the bathroom.
Per Applicant, there are no animals in the home.
THERE IS OUTDOOR PLAY AREA: Outdoor play activities will be conducted in the backyard, which is appropriately fenced. There are no bodies of water on the premises.
The value on the 2A10BC fire extinguisher indicates fully charged, as indicated on service tag observed. Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors were tested and are operable.
