On 6/22/2026, the Orange County Regional Child Care Licensing Office received a complaint with one allegation listed above: Licensee does not reside in the home.
During the investigation, LPA Carreiro conducted surveillance at the facility on 6/24/2026 and tour the facility. LPA Carreiro interviewed five (5) staff members and five (5) children. LPA Carreiro contacted six (6) parents to interview, two (2) parents responded and were interviewed. LPA Carreiro also obtained children’s roster and documents pertinent to the investigation.
Regarding allegation (1) Licensee does not reside in the home.
During the visit on 6/24/2026, LPA observed the facility having personal belongings. Five (5) out of five (5) staff members stated that the licensee does live here. Two (2) out of five (5) children stated Licensee resided in the home, while the remainder of the interviewed children weren’t sure who resided in the home. Interviewed parents stated they did not have any concern related to the allegation.
Based on the information gathered from LPAs’ observations, interviews, the preponderance of the evidence has not been met. Although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation of Licensee does not reside in the home, therefore, the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Appeal rights were given.
