25 | On 07/14/2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Patricia Duron conducted a Case Management due to a deficiency observed during today's inspection. LPA toured the facility and census was taken. LPA observed 17 children in care with licensee and assistant at the time of visit.
LPA observed 17 children present at arrival. LPA informed licensee they were out of ratio due to having 17 children. Licensee stated the 4 children were leaving and parents were on their way. LPA stated due to facility having 17 children at the time of visit, the large family child care home was out of ratio. Within 15 minutes 4 children were picked up, and facility census was 13 children in care with licensee and assistant.
Based on LPA’s observation and interview, the facility is being cited in accordance with California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12, 102416.5 Staffing Ratio and Capacity(d)(2).
LPA Duron informed licensee Pooja Chaudhri that this report dated July 14, 2026 documents one Type A citation which shall be posted for 30 consecutive days as there is an immediate risk to the health, safety, or personal rights of children in care.
LPA Duron informed the licensee to provide a copy of this licensing report dated July 14, 2026 that documents one Type A citation to parents/guardians of all children currently enrolled by the next business day or the next day the children are in care, and to any newly enrolled parents/guardians for 12 months from the date of this report. A signed Acknowledgement of Receipt of Licensing Report (LIC 9224), or other written statement, must be placed in the child's file for verification
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee, Pooja Chaudhri.
