25 | A virtual meeting was held with facility’s District Manager DeAnn McCashland and Director Perla Arrieta with Licensing Program Managers (LPM) Monica Cuddy, LPM Martha Malane, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Romy Castanon and LPA Giselle Lucero, to discuss the Child Care Center application process and to assist the licensee in meeting the requirements of the California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12.
An application was received on 01/16/2024. Facility is requesting an increase for the infant license from 24 to 48 and will decrease their preschool (304370279) capacity from 106 to 82.
LPM Cuddy discussed the application process, Technical Assistance Program (TSP), staffing ratios, capacity regulations and the facilities licensing history.
Due to recent violations of title 22 regulations, Licensee representative was given the opportunity to withdraw the application with the understanding that they could re-apply after a 6-12 month period when the level of compliance could be re-evaluated. The licensee representative was advised if the application is not withdrawn, the Department will be seeking the application denial.
The licensee stated the following: Regional Manager DeAnne McCashland requested they would like a week to discuss with management and corporate teams. Regional Manager will contact LPA Castanon with decision by 01/28/2025.
