On 10/3/2024 at 8:45am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Chan conducted a Legal/Non-Compliance inspection. LPA met with Director Alicia Flores. Upon arrival, LPA met with infant staff Shilpi Sharma and was informed of the reason for the visit. Census was taken; 4 infant children were being supervised by 1 teacher. Director arrived at around 9:40am to continue with the visit.

An on-site Facility Personnel Report Summary review showed that all facility staff or other individuals who require background checks have received criminal record and child abuse index clearances or exemptions.

Personal Rights: LPA observed staff interacting with children through an indoor activity.

During today’s visit, 2 children’s files were reviewed and in compliance.

In the areas that were evaluated, no deficiencies were observed of the California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12 at the time of the visit.

Exit interview was conducted and the report was reviewed with director, Alicia Flores. Appeal Rights and report were discussed. The director was provided a copy of their appeal rights (LIC 9058) and their signature on this form acknowledges receipt of these rights. All appeals must be in writing and received by the Regional Office within 15 business days. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
