During previous inspection on 4/28/2023, LPA Thompson interviewed staff, interviewed children ages 3-6 years old, and obtained the facility roster.
The five children interviewed were consistent with their statements, all stated that staff do talk loudly and they like attending school.
LPA interviewed staff and all staff were consistent with their statements. All staff mentioned treating children equally and with respect. Staff interviewed stated they have never witnessed any staff being rude to children. All staff interviewed have completed their mandated reporter training.
On 5/1/2023 LPA contacted eight (8) parents. Three (3) out of eight (8) parents were able to be interviewed. All three parents had nothing but positive things to say and all stated they did not have any concerns with the care and supervision their child/children receive.
Based on LPA interviews with children, staff, and parents, the complaint alleging Facility staff member does not treat day care children with respect and kindness is found to be unsubstantiated. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not enough preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Director Stefanie Evangelista. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
