25 | On 9/17/24 Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) D. Valdez Santana and V. Trinh conducted an unannounced case management visit because of a request to change rooms. There currently is one classroom (Bungalow #5) that has been designated for preschool children ages 2 to 5 years old. The applicant is requesting to change classroom #5 for Classroom #30. Classroom #30 is located in the main building. The preschool program is located on the grounds of Santa Ana Unified School District, Taft Elementary.
Fire clearance was granted on 08/29/2024 for Room #30. Room #30 is 33 ft x 27ft. LPAs observed age-appropriate furniture, toys, and equipment. Room #30 is well lit with ventilation. There is a sufficient space for the children to move. Storage cubbies are available for personal belongings. The main play area is carpeted and there is wood flooring throughout the room. Children will exit from Room #30, the main building; restroom will be on the right.
After a tour of the center, no deficiency was observed.
Based on today’s indoor measurements, the request to add Room #30 will be reviewed and discussed with
management. The facility will be notified if any additional information is required. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with the
Director with Early Learning Specialist, Veronica Aceves and a copy of this report was also provided.
