On 04/05/2023 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Stella Gutierrez made an unannounced visit to the facility for the purpose of a case management Non-compliance inspection. LPA was met by Maha Beydoun director who was explained the reason for todays visit. The Director and LPA toured the facility inside and out. During today's inspection LPA observed 05 preschool staff and 29 preschool children during todays visit.
A review of the Facility Personnel Report Summary conducted on 04/05/2023 indicates all facility staff or other individuals who required caregiver background checks have received criminal record and child abuse index clearances or exemptions.
The director was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
During the tour of the facility LPA observed the list of the emails for Leadership accessible to all staff present at the facility. LPA discussed the following regulations and the importance of staying within substantial compliance in accordance of title 22: Personal Rights- 101223, Care and Supervision -101229 and Administrator qualifications and duties 101215. The facility provides ongoing reminders via email and regular training's of the importance of the facility to maintain compliance with title 22 regulations and healthy & safety codes.

The director, Maha Beydoun has submitted all qualifications for the change in director to be processed effective 09/19/202. This change will be made immediately.

Based on today's visit and observations, there were not deficiencies observed today.
