Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Mahnaz (Nancy) Malek conducted a case management inspection of the facility for the purpose of increasing capacity from 15 children to 30 children in rooms 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 from 1:30 pm to 06:30pm. LPA met with staff in charge, Reyna Marques. LPA met with owner/director Sang-Ah Rheeduring inspection later on. The licensee has requested to provide care and supervision for children 6 to 13 years of age, Monday through Friday, 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m in school age rooms and additional preschool rooms #1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. The hours for preschool children will be from 8:30 am to 1:00pm
LPA observed 9 school age children with 2 staff. Currently the school age rooms are # 3, 4, and 5.

A review of the Facility Personnel Report Summary on this date indicates that all facility staff or other individuals who require caregiver background checks have received criminal record and child abuse index clearances or exemptions.
Office area is located at the entrance of the building and will serve as the isolation area for ill children temporarily until parents arrive. The staff/adult restroom will be used as the isolation restroom for ill children and is conveniently located close to the isolation area.
This facility provides Incidental Medical Services – IMS. For IMS information, see Evaluator Manual - Regulation Interpretations and Procedures for Child Care Centers Sections 101173 and 101226.
