25 | This is a follow-up proof of correction inspection conducted by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Tran. LPAs met with Karla Barba, Director and informed the Director of the purpose of today's visit.
A review of the Facility Personnel Report Summary on 06/19/2024 indicates all facility staff or other individuals who require caregiver background checks have received criminal record and child abuse index clearances or exemptions.
At arrival, LPA observed the census as follows: total of 11 preschool children and 1 staff the Fours classroom, and 12 preschool children with 3 staff members in the Older Twos classroom.
At 1pm, LPA observed 1 fully qualified teacher was supervising 7 napping children in classroom Threes and 2 fully qualified teachers were supervising 16 napping children and 3 awake children including 1 child sitting at the table reading in classroom Fives.
Facility was observed to be in compliance with staff-child ratio. There is no observed deficiency during the visit today.
Appeal Rights were explained. The Director was provided a copy of appeal rights (LIC 9058) and their signature on this form acknowledges receipt of these rights. All appeals must be in writing and received by the Regional Office within 15 business days. First level appeals should be sent to the regional manager to the address listed above. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Director Karla Barba.
