13 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Celine De Perio made an unannounced visit to this facility. LPA De Perio met with Business Office Manager (BOM) Joshua Oliver and stated the purpose of this visit, which was to deliver the final findings for the complaint received on 8/23/22 against this facility. For today’s visit, there are a total of 91 residents in care of which 8 are on hospice.
This agency has investigated the complaint alleging that facility is not abiding resident's admission agreement. Specifically, reporting party stated that facility is not feeding and cleaning resident’s pet. LPA De Perio conducted record reviews, interviews and conducted a tour of the facility of randomized resident bedrooms of those who owned pets. Per interviews, it was stated that majority of the residents take care of their pets, and staff assist with pet care if needed or requested. We have found that the complaint was UNFOUNDED, meaning that the allegation was false, could not have happened and/or is without a reasonable basis. We have therefore dismissed the complaint. |
