32 | Entrance walkways, hall ways and exits were free of obstruction and debris. Facility walls, and floors were in good condition adequate lighting was available. The last fire drill was conducted in January of 2022, and fire extinguishers were properly charged, last serviced in March of 2022. There is Plenty of storage space, and chemicals and sharps were properly locked. The men’s and women’s restrooms were clean and within title 22 regulations. Water temperature measured at 114 degrees. The kitchen was clean, and a refrigerator was available for consumer use. A drinking water supply was available for consumer use located for the refrigerator’s dispenser. The facility does not provide meals but has emergency snacks and water available. Client and staff files were reviewed and had all the required documentation.
LPA observed the following Infection Control Practices: Visitor/Staff/Client sign in with screening questions. 1 thermometer for temperature checks. Over 30-day supply of PPE’s which includes gowns, gloves, face shield and N95 mask, surgical masks, soap, paper towels, hand sanitizer, hand hygiene posting, trash can’s with lids, and designated isolation rooms.
The facility has an employee sick leave policy for Covid-19, back up staffing plan, and N95 fit testing conducted 08/31/21
No deficiencies were observed during this visit. An exit interview was conducted, and a copy of this report was provided.
