13 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Joseph Alejandre made an unannounced visit to deliver the findings of the complaint investigation into the allegations listed above. LPA was screened for Covid-19 symptoms and granted entry by staff. LPA met with Executive Director Christine Chon and explained the reason for the visit. The investigation revealed the following; LPA toured resident rooms and observed the sliding doors and windows could be opened. The sliding doors can be locked but can be opened from the inside. LPA observed that in vacant rooms the sliding doors and windows were locked. LPA interviewed residents and staff. The allegation could not be corroborated by staff or residents. Based the evidence gathered through interviews and observation, the allegation, resident(s) windows and doors are locked, is deemed UNFOUNDED, meaning the allegation is false, could not have happened and/or is without a reasonable basis. An exit interview was conducted, and a copy of the report provided. |
