25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ruth Martinez contacted the facility via tele-visit, using whatsapp video technology, to commence a pre-licensing inspection due to COVID-19 and pre-cautionary measures. LPA identified herself and discussed the purpose of the announced video call and spoke with applicant Roy Sweeny.
An initial application to operate an Adult Residential Facility for the Elderly, age 60 years and over, for (6) capacity, (0) ambulatory, (5) non-ambulatory, and (1) bedridden residents was submitted to CCL on 04/20/2020.
Structure:
The facility is a beige one-story house with an attached garage with 7 bedrooms, 1 caregiver room, 6 resident bedrooms, 1 bedroom is equipped with a bathroom and 2 rooms share a bathroom, 1 living room, 1 dining room, and a restaurant style open kitchen. The resident bedrooms are spacious and will easily accommodate the resident’s furnishings. There is a large back yard with 2 exit ways on each side of the house with shaded seating area for residents.
Signal system:
Central air/heating system installed with a central panel to control entire house.
Bedrooms Residents:
Bedrooms are for 5 non-ambulatory residents and 1 bedridden resident. Bedrooms will accommodate 6 residents with all rooms being private rooms with a bathroom in bedroom #6 and bedroom #2-3 have a shared bathroom.
