32 | Staff are not allowing residents access to the kitchen.
Interviews conducted with staff S1 indicated that residents are not able to be in the kitchen area. Interviews conducted with Staff S2 indicated that residents are allowed in the kitchen at any time. Interviews conducted with residents indicated they are able to be in the kitchen as needed and there is food available. Therefore, the allegation staff are not allowing residents access to the kitchen is unsubstantiated.
Based on interviews conducted, observations, and records reviewed, the preponderance of evidence standards have not been met. Therefore, the above allegations are found to be UNSUBSTANTIATED. A finding that a complaint allegation is unsubstantiated means that, although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred.
