13 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Melissa Parks arrived unannounced on Thursday August 27, 2026 to complete and deliver findings to a complaint received on May 19, 2026. LPA met with Administrator Megan and explained purpose of visit.
LPA learned the following: On 4/7/2026, at approximately 4:14 pm, R1 pressed their pendant. Staff responded 31 minutes after the pendant was initially pressed. Staff found R1 on the floor who stated they attempted to transfer themselves to their chair. Per the incident report, no injuries were noted nor did the resident have any complaints of pain. On 4/7/26, R1 pressed their pendant a total of 59 times. While records show some call times exceed 15 minutes, there is no specific call response time dictated in Title 22 regulations; rather, regulations require that the care assistance needs are met with sufficient and competent staffing. This requirement was met. |
