13 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jeremey McClain met with facility representative Esther Gamache to deliver findings for a complaint investigation. LPA observed 35 children supervised by three staff.
It was alleged that staff at the facility are not providing adequate supervision of children, resulting in injuries.
During the investigation LPA reviewed children’s files, reviewed staff files, reviewed incident reports and photos, and interviewed staff and parents. Evidence gathered and observed does not corroborate the allegations. LPA did not observe major injuries documented for preschool children in care that there is a lack of supervision from staff.
The allegation may have happened or is valid, but there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove that lack of supervision has led to injuries.
An exit interview was conducted, and this report was reviewed with licensing representative Esther Gamache. Appeal rights were provided. A Notice of Site Visit was provided and shall remain posted for 30 days.
