13 | On February 14, 2023 Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Lea Habtom and Amanda Blesi made an unannounced inspection to the facility. The purpose of today’s visit is to close a complaint investigation. LPAs met with director Michelle Zemlicka to deliver the findings. There was a census of the 30 preschool children being supervised by 3 staff outdoors. All staff present today have been fingerprint cleared and associated to the facility.
Staff did not prevent daycare children from engaging in inappropriate interactions
During the investigation, LPA L. Habtom conducted interviews regarding the facility staff did not prevent daycare children from engaging in inappropriate interactions. LPA Habtom toured the facility, conducted observation and interviewed those pertinent to the investigation. Based on the investigation, LPA Habtom gathered that staff intervened when they noticed children may have engaged in inappropriate interaction therefore the allegation is unsubstainted. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the allegations did or did not occur. Appeal rights and notice of site visit was provided to be posted for 30 days. |
