LPA Amanda Blesi met with Program Coordinator, Andrea Brand and director, Kristy Vandenhoff for a case management inspection today. LPA observed 21 school children in care supervised by three staff. The STAR program operates on the Scott Leaman Elementary School Campus in rooms D4, D5, and the multi-purpose room. The program requests the use of two additional rooms (D3 and B1) for their summer program.

LPA toured rooms D3 and B1 for a health and safety evaluation and determined they are appropriate for use.

The Program Director provided LPA with a new facility sketch and copy of the elementary school fire clearance.

Per today's inspection, rooms D3 and B1 are cleared for use during the summer program only, and the STAR program will discontinue use in the fall 2022 when the elementary school is back in session.

No deficiencies cited today.
