25 | On June 20, 2023 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Lea Habtom met with Sandra Reyes Francisco for a prelicensing continuation. During today's inspection applicant's spouse Adam Richardson was also present. The purpose of today's inspection is to complete the prelicensing inspection. LPA Lea Habtom verified that the corrections were made as follows:
-Door leading to the garage from the main area of the child care space has a lock due to the items in the garage such as paint, sharp tools etc.
-A gate placed on the stairs leading up to the parking space from the day care space.
-Equipment in the main child care space has been cleared and removed
-Ammunition is stored in a locked space
-Locking mechanism for the pool is self-closing and self-latching
-Fencing requirement from the bottom of the deck meets the 4''
-Spacing of the lattice pattern is 1.69 inches
-Wooden structure beneath the fence is .75 width and 5 1/2 inches. The width of the wood is less than the width of a wrought iron fence.
-The storage/mud bath room in the pool area is locked.
Based on today's inspection LPA Lea Habtom has verified that the corrections have been made.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the applicant Sandra Reyes Francisco.
Effective today, June 20, 2023, applicant is approved for a Small Family Child Care Home license for a capacity of 6 children with no more than 3 infants, or 4 infants only; or up to 8 children with no more than 2 infants, with 1 child in Transitional Kindergarten or above and 1 child at least age 6. Infants are children under the age of 2.
