Centralized Application Bureau (CAB) Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Arianna Manabat met with Facility Representatives VICTORIA TREADWAY and VICKY LINCOLN for the purpose of a case management - licensee initiated inspection. The Applicant requests a total of 8 infants ages 0-24 months and 16 toddlers ages 18-36 months. The program will operate Monday through Friday from 8:00am-2:30pm. The fire clearance was received and granted on 05/08/2024.

INDOOR ACTIVITY SPACE:
The new configuration of classrooms is as follows:
There are a total of 2 rooms for the infant component, room 1A and 1B. Room 1A is used for toddlers and rooms 1B will be used for the toddler room. The applicant is aware that, if they choose to use the room in the future, they would need to contact licensing prior to any changes.

Room 1A measures for 985.98 sqft and Room 1B measures for 443.04 sqft. It should be noted that the total room square footage for Infant Room 1B is 669.39 sqft but the crib area, which measures for 226.35 sqft was considered as encumbered square footage and is not included in the square footage. The total square footage of these classrooms will accommodate the requested capacity of 8 infants and 16 toddlers. LPA Manabat observed a total of 2 sinks in the infant space (room 1B) and 3 sinks and 1 toilet in the toddler room (room 1A). LPA Manabat counted a total of 4 cribs inside of the crib area. The room has a changing table within arms reach of the sink.

LPA observed a sufficient amount of equipment, toys, tables, chairs, cubbies, and napping cots. There is a first aid kit in each of the classrooms and disinfectants are appropriately stored and inaccessible to children. Applicant stated there are no poisons or firearms on the premises.

OUTDOOR ACTIVITY SPACE:
There are two outdoor areas on the property that were measured during the previous inspection as a total of 1678.67 square feet, which will accommodate 8 infant children and 1762.28 square feet for the which accommodates the 16 toddlers. Individual measurements are recorded on the Capacity Worksheet (LIC 9024).

An exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the applicant, Zhen Zhen Li.
