32 | LPA observed all indoor activity space to be complete with age-appropriate furniture and equipment, including tables, chairs, cubbies, cribs, cots, bookshelves, and other activity supplies for the children. Toys are safe with no sharp edges, splinters, or points, nor made of small parts that can present a choking hazard. Drinking water is available in the classrooms via individual containers provided by families. LPA observed all hazardous items to be inaccessible to children. There are no bodies of water or weapons on the property. The fire department provided an approved fire clearance form to Licensing on 7/2/2026. .
LPA observed changing tables in all infant rooms, EP1, EP2, EP3, and Pathways 1. Changing tables have at least 1” padding covered with moisture-resistant, washable material. Sides of the changing tables are at least 3” high and the changing tables are within arm’s reach of a sink. Diapering sink is not used for meal preparation or dishwashing. The infant napping areas are physically separated from the indoor activity space according to regulation. There are 16 cribs meeting regulatory requirements in the infant napping areas. LPA advised Director that no more than 16 infants requiring a crib for sleep are to be enrolled unless additional cribs are added. Sleep logs will be recorded on an app and Needs and Services Plans will be kept in the infant classrooms.
The facility has a total of 16 toilets and 30 sinks. These are sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity of 200 children. There are two separate staff restrooms equipped with toilets and sinks. The isolation area for children who are ill will be the front office.
Facility will provide AM snack, lunch, and PM snack. Weekly menu is posted in the Office. The kitchen area currently includes refrigeration, sinks, counter space and required appliances for meal preparation. The kitchen area and food storage areas were observed free of rodents and/or vermin. Hazardous items in kitchen are inaccessible to children.
The facility playground areas were fully fenced. Fencing was at least four feet high in all areas. LPA measured outdoor preschool activity space of 18,985.5 square feet, which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity of 136 preschool children. This measurement includes a the proposed shared Infant/Preschool Playground. LPA measured outdoor infant activity space of 7,889.2 square feet, which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity of 64 infants. This measurement also includes the proposed shared Infant/Preschool Playground. Applicant will submit a waiver request to allow children from the Infant component to share the Infant/Preschool Playground with Preschoolers on alternating schedules. Shade is provided via the building and canopies above play structures.
