NARRATIVE
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25	An Informal Conference was held at the Riverside Child Care Regional Office on this date, October 24, 2023, at 09:45AM. Present during the conference were Administrative Director, Trudy Oliver; Associate Director, Tanya Soleski; Licensing Program Manager (LPM), Gilbert Sena; and Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Giselle Carbullido. The conference was called to discuss the facility's most recent issues of Title 22 Regulations pertaining to: 1) CCR 101212- Reporting Requirements 2) CCR 101223 - Personal Rights On 08/24/2023 the facility was cited a type A citation for the mishandling of children (personal rights) and a type B citation for failure to report a negative interaction occurring between a staff and child. Prior to this meeting, it was disclosed that the following measures have been taken by the facility administrators: 1. Staff meeting to review of personal rights and reporting requirements including program with lessons 2. Implementation of initial performance improvement plan on prior incident 3. Cameras pending installation in the classrooms During the conference, LPM Sena reminded the Directors of the importance for regulatory compliance in licensed facilities to protect the Health and Safety of children in care. Facility representatives were informed that the Community Care Licensing Agency takes these violations seriously, and how the violations can lead to further administrative actions by the Department.

LPM Sena and LPA Carbullido also discussed and encouraged the following operational strategies:

A) Annual review of personal rights regulation including review of scenarios/role play.
B) Completing follow up to personnel performance improvement plans C) All parent/guardians will need to be notified of today’s visit with the LIC9224
