It was then alleged that the facility is operating out of ratio. In the statement provided by the reporting party, allegedly at around or after 08:00AM each day, there are 40 children to 3-4 teachers providing care and supervision and also at the end of the day. 3 of 3 staff all stated that the ratio is not a concern as the center works with management staff each to adjust staffing as necessary when needed. LPA then toured the center at approximately 08:15AM and found 3 qualified teachers to 24 preschool children on one side of the center, and 2 qualified teachers to 12 toddlers on the other side. Additionally, LPA observed daily schedules and found no ratio concerns. Thus, due to interviews conducted, and LPA observation, the allegation was found Unsubstantiated.
A finding of Unsubstantiated means that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur.
An exit interview was discussed where a copy of this report was provided along with copies of the LIC9099C, and Appeal Rights. A notice of site visit was provided and must be posted for 30 days.
