On November 28, 2023, at 10:15 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Courtnee Peebles arrived unannounced to MURRIETA RANCH PRESCHOOL, INC. (CCC) and met with director, Dena Roy to discuss the investigative finding of the allegation listed above. On November 28, 2023 at 10:15 AM, LPA conducted a tour and census of the CCC. During the investigation, LPA conducted confidential interviews with three staff (D, O, S1) one aide (A1).

On November 2, 2023, a complaint was received with allegations stating, Staff made an inappropriate comment in front of day care child. Confidential interviews revealed there was a conversation between D and C1’s mother in front of C1 and A1 regarding transitioning concerns for C1. D wanted to guarantee C1 safely transitioned from the classroom to the front of the CCC, but due to ratio concerns D wanted to ensure the CCC was a good placement for C1.

Based on confidential interviews conducted during the investigation the allegation that Staff made an inappropriate comment in front of day care child, is not supported or proven by evidence. Therefore, the above allegations are unsubstantiated. A notice of site visit was provided and must remain posted for 30 days. A copy of this report and appeal rights were given and explained to Director Dena Roy.
