25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Tricia Danielson arrived unannounced to the facility to conduct a case management visit in conjunction with complaint 18-AS-20210311103931 to check on the health, safety, and welfare of residents in care. LPA met with Carrie MacDonald, Community Relations Director (CRD) and explained the purpose of the visit. LPA was informed that twenty-nine (29) residents currently reside at the facility at this time. There were fourteen (14) staff on duty during the time of LPA's visit.
During the visit, LPA toured the inside and outside of the facility. LPA assessed the available food supply and observed that the supply exceeds the requirement of a two (2) day supply of perishable foods and a seven (7) day supply of non-perishable foods. LPA observed all facility utilities to be on and operating without issue. LPA spoke with Med Techs in Assisted Living and Memory Care and both reported no issues with obtaining the required medications for residents. CRD reported the facility was inspected by the health department on 10/18/2021 and no citations were issued. However, CRD reported the facility has not paid the health license since July 2020 and was due to be renewed July 2021. CRD also reported a new water shut off notice was received dated 10/13/2021 and payment is due 10/23/2021 or water services will be shut off.
Based on the information obtained during today's visit, there are no immediate threats to the health, safety, and welfare of the residents in care. No deficiencies were cited during today's visit. An exit interview was conducted and a copy of this report was provided to MacDonald. |
