On 5/13/2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Andrew Martinez conducted an unannounced visit to investigate the allegation above. LPA met with Direct Support Professional (DSP) staff, Abiodun "Philip" Abe, and explained the purpose of the visit. Licensee Bolaji Akinmulero arrived later.Today's investigation consisted of both client and staff interviews.
On 5/7/2026, CCLD received a complaint with an allegation that staff engaged in a physical altercation with client in care. LPA conducted three (3) client interviews. Three (3) out of the three (3) clients stated staff did not engage in physical altercation with any client. LPA conducted three (3) staff interviews. Three (3) out of the three (3) staff stated staff did not engage in physical altercation with any clients in care.
Based on the evidence gathered by LPA today, the allegation above is deemed UNSUBSTANTIATED. A finding that the complaints are UNSUBSTANTIATED means although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred. An exit interview was conducted and this Complaint Investigation Report LIC 9099 was discussed and provided to DSP staff member, Abiodun "Philip" Abe.
