25 | On July 1, 2024, at 9:35 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Anastasia Flores, conducted an annual inspection as part of a compliance review. LPA toured the inside and outside of the facility with Director, Maria Marquez, and the following was observed and/or noted:
· The following items were posted and updated where necessary:
- License
- Emergency Disaster Plan (LIC610) and Earthquake Preparedness Checklist (LIC9148)
- Parent’s Rights Poster (PUB393)
- Personal Rights (LIC613A)
- Child Car Seat Law
- Menu
· The facility is operating within the limits as stated on the license.
· Ratios are being met during this inspection. Rm #1, 10 to one, Rm#3;six to one, Rm#4;six to one, Rm#10;six to one, Rm#9; seven to one, Rm#8;11 to two, Rm#7;10 to one, Rm#6;11 to one, Rm#5 &2 empty.
· Classrooms are adequately equipped with age and size appropriate furniture and equipment and free of hazards
· There are no weapons present at the facility as stated by Director Maria Marquez.
· There are no accessible bodies of water present. All wading pools or similar product must be emptied immediately after use and stored in an upright position.
· Drinking water is provided in the indoor & outdoor activity space, with public drinking water, children bring personal sippy cups from home, and they are filled up daily. Children are also able to use the drinking fountains if needed.
· Medications are stored where inaccessible to children in the main office behind a locked box.
· Hazardous items are stored where inaccessible to children which include: Disinfectants, cleaning solutions and other items that are dangerous |
