25 | On date and time listed, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kelli Waters arrived at the facility to conduct an annual inspection as part of a compliance review. Licensee Anna Negron and assistant Jazmin Manzanares were present during the visit. LPA toured the facility, inside and out, records were reviewed, and the following was observed and/or discussed:
• Normal days and hours of operation are: Saturday-Sunday 6:00am-11:00pm
• Off-limit areas include: Kitchen, Laundry area, Garage, Pool area, and Entire 2nd floor.
• The facility is licensed to have no more than 14 children as a large FCCH and is operating within the licensed capacity and appropriate ratios. 2 staff and 6 children present.
• Appropriate supervision was being provided during this inspection
• A working telephone is present, and the current phone number is on file
• A fully charged fire extinguisher (2A:10BC) was observed. A smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector were present and tested by the Licensee during this inspection.
• Fireplace is properly screened to prevent access by children
• All hazardous items are stored inaccessible to children; located in locked drawers next to stove and locked pantry
• Toxins are locked and inaccessible to children in care; cleaners are kept above refrigerator and under sink in locked cabinet
• Weapons are not present/stored according to Title 22. Licensee understands all guns, weapons and ammunition must be key locked separately and made inaccessible per Title 22 Regulations
• Stairs are barricaded
• Clean, safe, and age-appropriate toys are provided
• Current roster on file
• Facility Sketch, Emergency Disaster Plan and Notification of Parent’s Rights poster are posted
• Documentation of fire and disaster drills are on file – Last drill was conducted on 05/06/24 |
